20 bears  (2011: 6 cubs went into rehabilitation-3 cubs/The Standish Cubs were released,and the other 3/The Enfield Brothers,and gal Orlando will be released in 2012/Spring) (TOTAL # OF BEARS RELEASED TO DATE =15 releases-including 1 cub that released himself/escaped in 1997) (OTHER PAST DATA : 1 bear had died,and a necropsy was done:Resutlts=gastric intestinal disorder) (1 bear was euthanized,and a necropsy was done.Results= tumor, neurological  damage)

Second Chance Wildlife,Inc. Is Now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit . The IRS has received all forms needed,and necessary for filing and has now approved! I have also Starter cost/fee: Submitted the 990-N file;this has been processed. A $750.00 user fee to the IRS was  sent certified mail 5-15-09.Though we have only received small donations in the past couple years (all donations are listed on the website) A budget has been created in hope to gain some larger donations. (Everything is money & time) No/0 $/wages have been made in 2007,2008,2009,2010,2011 any check paid to me personaly has been re-deposited and we have also donated our own $ into The Second Chnace Wildlife,Inc. account.I have made No earnings ever!I have been a Miane lisenced Rehabilittaor since 1997. All work and time that we have done has been volunteer/ in kind. 
 
Begining /starter cost for:The Foundation Group was: $1,200.00-phase I & II. also 990-N preparation $100.00 (the foundation group has been very helpful preparing information/forms,and I do thank them sincerely,and appreciate their patiance.There are times I have had questions for why some things may be worded a certain way- Much of this is me just making sure I have reviewed everything thoroughly,along with them, and making sure we are in agreement the way everything is prepared,and it is accurate/correct). I also sent The State of Maine 2009 annual report filing fee cost of: $85.00.8-13-09 I faxed over additional information/forms that were required for the IRS to complete the application process for Second Chance Wildlife, Inc.(regarding the 1023 application,8821 form.)Every thing was approved.
